[Elecraft] cheap 1A linear power supply

Has anyone tried the 12V 1A linear regulated wall wart from Jameco (part #
170245CL) as a hotel room power supply for the KX1?  It is cheap and sounds
like it would work-i.e. not a switcher and "regulated."
