Hi Art,

I also find the K1 VFO pot too easy to turn, even when I turn it intentionally.  I placed some hand cut felt washers between the front panel and the back of the VFO knob to add some stiffness.

That doesn't provide what you ask, but it is a crude way to help in the absense of a lock feature.
