ECN/2 was run on 7046 kHz with Pigs flying everywhere. I had a hard
time trying to get Dan's SN through all the numbers from those piggies but
never the less I think I've got it right. Dan if I am wrong please
correct me. Besides the aeronautic porcines there was quite of bit of
that pure Midwestern QRN to contend with. A heaping helping no less. But
the net went fairly well. I even gave Ron a chance to call Ken for his
final state. But, silly me, I had forgotten to tell him that Ken was in
Minnesota :( Sorry Ron it just flew out of my head. I think I told you
he was on vacation but I do remember as I am writing this that he was at
Split Rock Creek State Park in the land of 10,000 lakes and about a 100
billion mosquitos. The fish seem to thrive on them however and get quite
large. Maybe we'll hear a story about one of those muskies when he gets
back to Fargo. Then I'll let you call him for your WAS via ECN/2. Good
luck to both of you.
Then I forgot to ask Dick which one of his four Elecraft rigs he was
using to QNI. Which rig was it Dick? I got excited and forgot to ask you
which one. It was a bit noisy so I don't think it was one of the two KX1s
but I can never tell about those things. Wayne told me he had some sort
of deal with the Aether Bunny to fill them with extra special mojo. I am
not sure about Wayne, he's an odd one ;)
And finally Karl checks in from across the way and I forget to ask him
which Elecraft rig he is on. But we were having a very hard time of
communicating from the East Side of the West Hills to the West Side of the
Front Range of the Coast Range. One of these days I should run the net
from the top of our mountain. That would remove many of the obstructions
 from our path.
Oh well, I had fun and hope you all did too. If I could check you in
again next week that would be just fine by me. On to the list:

W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
NE5DL - Dave - TX - K2 - 2887
W0NTA - Dick - CO - K2 3900 or K1 712 or KX1 281 or 209
KL7V/5 - Sam - OK - K2 - 3158
AC7XR - Mark - UT - still non Elecraft but next week that will change!!!
N0TK - Dan - CO - K2 - 3652
W6AZ - Ron - CA - K2 - 1366
N7NLU - Karl - OR - K1 1663 or K2 4227 Too noisy to ask you which one
Karl.

Next week Mark will have his K2 ready for prime time. Not sure whether
we'll be the recipient of his first call on a brand new K2 but we'll be
ready to help break it in properly :) It will be a treat. Thank you all
for your support.
    Until next week 73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
