The net was held on 14052 kHz this evening because there was so much
activity. First check in caught me by surprise. Doug was so strong I
jumped when he came back. Then Dave was a bit weaker. But once I got to
Bill I found there was a lot of QSB. I handed the net to him and he did a
find job as I logged almost all of the information by proxy. K0JEM had me
fooled though. I knew I had a K1 with the serial number of 1400 as I was
copying. I also knew I had a fellow from KS. But his call was KD0
something. Search my list... There he is, Joel. That rascal must have
changed his call on me. Got to the computer after the net and sure enough
there he is with a new call. Your on my list Joel :) (Mikado reference :)

Thank you very much to Bill for his fine QSP work. He didn't hear me come
back but I had almost all of the information. Had everyone's call and
serial number but needed to fill in a few names and states. About the
time I got Bill's email I had gone to QRZ and filled in the needed
elements. It was nice to have my serial numbers confirmed however.

Two of the QNIs have met some milestones. Bill is now at 30 times and
Mychael holds top spot at 40 times. Thank you very much for your
support. I appreciate it!

K0JEM - Joel - KS - K1 - 1400 Ex-KD0HU, had me fooled Joel :)

I cannot do this alone. Without the help of folks like Bill and Tom, the
support of Sam (KL7V) and Mychael I would not be able to keep running this
net. They make it a lot of fun and give me the confidence to both get it
started and keep it going through thick and thin. Thank you all for
checking in and having a bit of fun. When the bands come back in a few
years this should be second nature to us all. Let's keep this net alive
until then. If you are in Europe or SouthWestern Asia keep alert to the
Eurasian and European flavors of ECN. They'll have fun hearing from you.
    Very 73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
