[Elecraft] KPA-100 Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 screws to heat simk question

Hi all:  I am just nearing completion of the 100W upgrade to my K2.  I am
unable to get the 1/4" 4-40 pan head screws to reach far enough through the
board to "catch" the threads in the heat sink UNLESS I leave off the lock
washers.  Without the lockwashers, everything seems to fit perfectly.  

I'd appreciate any thoughts or advice on this.  Thanks.
