[Elecraft] K2 VCO no signal

Dear All:

Can anyone help me with the following problem?

K2 VCO shows 0.0000 kHz at TP1
Resistance check U6 pin shows 38 ohms instead of > 100 ohms 
All other resistance checks are OK


Note also that:

Reference PLL is OK 

BFO is OK

All control functions etc are OK

I have re-checked all capacitors/relays 13,14, 15 connections are OK

I have confirmed that I have the correct diodes in the correct places

Using an oscilloscope I can detect a sine wave up to the R31-D23/D24
connection.

There is no sine wave signal at No: 2 input lead on T5.

There is no sine wave signal at the Gate of Q18 (I have confirmed that this
is the correct type of transistor)

I elevated D21 and D22 above the board just in case they were shorted out (I
have read that some of these diodes have a centre lead that has been cut and
may short out the pads)


I would appreciate any help or advice.
