[Elecraft] Elecraft CW Net proposal

Good Evening folks,
   Tom Hammond, N0SS, mentor, QSP, and all around good egg has proposed we add a 
bit to our call for check ins on ECN.   Instead of the normal CQ ECN DE KD5ONS  QNI 
QTC ? K   he thinks we should add SN to the mix.   In the past we have always asked 
for name and state of anyone who is new to the list.  Now we wish to expand this to 
name, state, and serial number.  But since the serial number is specific to a model of 
Elecraft rig we will have to send QNI QTC SN TYPE ? K   Or maybe it would be easier to 
ask after the person has gotten into an exchange with either me or with any other QSP 
on the net.  
    So far the net has checked in 119 different folks.  If I would have been collecting 
SNs all that time I could qualify for one of those fancy awards from Elecraft.  But I do 
this for the love of the sport.  There may be some of you out there who would like to 
gain a few serial numbers to work toward that prize.  And the hidden benefit?  You get 
to play at making all of us work harder at copying and doing an excellent job of it.  
You'll have to provide more fills than you already have been sending.  But you'll drive 
me even more bonkers.  Think of the fun you'll have doing that :)
    Please reply to me and not the Reflector to keep Eric from shooting me.  Don't want 
the rath of the Elecraft folks to descend upon my house.  I already get enough grief 
from Ms P!  What is your vote: Yeah or Nay on SN during ECN?
