[Elecraft] Kester solder?

I guess that somewhere along the way, when I wasn't paying attention,  we
got a away from silver bearing solder?

At any rate, tnx to Tom Hammomd I just ordered a pound of multi-core solder
for about 15 bucks -- should last a while.

I dont know about your  roll but I use Kester "44"  SN60PB40  to build all
Elecraft kits.  I have built twelve K2's with many many options including
the 100 watt amp and 100 W tuner and two K1's and two KX1's and still have
about half of my second 1 lb roll.  I use the 0.025 size solder because it
allows you to only use what is needed to solder the joint. Plus there are
less chances for solder bridges when using the smaller diameter solder.
