Hi,  Finally got K1 #1756 on the air today.  Many thanks to the VE????? who patiently helped 
me through my very first ever QSO.  I was so nervous that I only understood bits of his 
messages.  My Elmer, Frank ,W4VV, deserves a lot of credit too.  With his 20 meter beam my 
signal finally got out.  Frank tells me that with only 7 watts I'll never get another response, as we 
sat near the heat from his thousand watt linear.  But hey, thanks for the help.  Frank 
recommended a ground rod for my 60-foot stealth antenna.  I think it's helping because I finally 
got some TVI on cable channel 2 when on 40 meters.

Any ideas on a ATU that clicks like crazy and reports swr of 9.9?  Soldering, part location, and 
torroid windings look right.  Any thoughts?  I'm able to tune the antenna using a NorCal BLT and 
NoGaWatt SWR meter.  Even with the antenna tuned using the above, the ATU reports 9.9.
