I'd have to agree. When I change bands quickly in a contest, it takes a
few seconds for the power in my K2/100 (#3134) to come up from zero. This
is long enough that at contest cw speeds the station I am calling often
misses the first part of my call, and I have to repeat my call a second
time.

In comparison, my Omni VI was perfectly happy at 100W with 2:1 SWR.
