[Elecraft] K2/100 and KAT100 odd behavior

Hi Brett,
My K2 feeds an Acom 2000a. At 1000w out, I get a 50W variation in power out
while key down. When using the TS-950SDX I get a 10W variation.

And despite the same situation here (except no KAT100), I have to report
experience contrary to Brendan's final paragraph.
Other than initial key-down spikes, the K2 is the _worst_ radio I have used
when it comes to output power stability on any band, full stop.
It is clear to me either a K2 is well-behaved in this regard or it
isn't. The ~200
watt variation I reported in a previous post was what my K2 does to my ACOM
1k
& we have a 26 dBW limit here, too.
Not good if you're using a 3CX1500A7 instead of a GU74B (potentially bye,
bye
grid). ;^(
