[Elecraft] VCO-Alignment

Centering the range is usually a good idea - it is not essential, but it
does keep the PLL working near its center design point which will reduce the
chance of frequency calibration errors over the range and will allow greater
tuning range outside the ham bands.

Hy All,
today I have recalibrated my K2 #3607. The lowest VCO-voltage was 1.55V, the
highest was 6.00 V.
This is in range. Are there any andvantages when i bring the entire range to
a higher level, so that the lowest voltage is about 2.1 V and the highest
will be about 6.5V?
Tnx for your response.
