I think the only way to access the settings of the KDSP2 filter is to use
the SW (switch) and DS (read display) commands.  To change the DSP settings
in code, a programmer would have to issue a series of SW (switch) commands
and DS (read the display values) commands.  The idea would be to change DSP
values based on what was read from the display and issue further SW commands
to adjust the parameters.  While potentially having a lot of "communication"
overhead, it would allow the DSP to be adjusted "on the fly" from
software -- adjustable bandwidth, bandpass tuning, denoiser values, and so
on ...  It could also "unlock" all the potential of the other menu items
(like MIC gain, compression settings, side tone, display dimmer, and so on
...)

Perhaps a faster communications rate (past the current 4800 baud) would
help -- Wayne ??

Now that would be slick!
