Hi All,
            Well I've finished "Assembly - Part II". On switch on I could
not detect any smoke, always a good sign! It passed the resistance checks so
I forged on to "Alignment and Test - Part II".
          After the alignment I had a listen around, I heard Air New Zealand
on 15340 at 0500 at comfortable strength and listened there for about 15
minutes. As I was winding back down I stumbled across the ANZA DX net and
heard a 4X4 station as well as a couple of Pacific callsigns, H44 and KH6. I
could not hear anything on 40, either the band was dead or I have a problem.
I will have a further listen on 40 today.
          So it's onto "Assembly - Part III" this afternoon, I will use a 33
ohm resistor at R30 instesd of the specified 22 ohm item.  Wish me luck!
