It has been sold again.  They are now part of Loctite, which is owned  
by Henkel.  There is a web site at <http://www.loctite.com>.  There is  
a FAQ on that site which implies that lead-free solder may already be  
the standard in Japan.  Lead is scheduled to be banned in Europe in  
2008, but solder has an exception in the U.S. Lead Exposure Reduction  
Act.
