[Elecraft] DM2

Hi Chas,

I'm not familiar with the DM2, but I have the MH-2.

This is just a thought, but it might be audio related. When you wired the K2 up for the MH-2 (an electret mic) did you place the resistor on the back of the 8 pin mic socket as is stated in the instructions?

If the MH-2 is working OK, it would seem that you have the resistor someplace (some guys, including myself, are putting it the MH-2's plug and not on the 8 pin socket.)

As I said I'm not familiar with the DM2, but perhaps you might take a look at the resistor and see if its getting in the way of things.

Secondly (is that a word?), did you check to see that the DM2 and the MH-2 both call for the same header wiring in the K2?

Let me know what happens.
