Yahoo:
  fixed the last little glitch in the receive circuits; it seems that there
was a tiiiny piece of RG-174 coax braid from the premix to the rx mixer
touching the center conductor.  Must have been high enough R to not degrade
the signal completely.  Blame old eyes for that. Well, now the bands (20 and
40) are *full* of signals.  I heard some pretty good dx using the 5-BTV
vertical that I couldn't hear on the TS-520.  Now all I have to do is finish
the TX circuits, put the 40/20 meter dipoles back up (if I can find them
under the snow), and get on the air!

Question:
	 It's a bit noisy here.  There is a gas station/convenience store
and auto repair garage with a lot of sodium and mecury vapor lights, and the
usual power line stuff.  The NB on the TS-520 does cut this stuff back to
tolerable levels, at least the more annoying stuff.  How effective is the
KNB1 with these sources?
