[Elecraft] scope suggestions?

Bob,
Most of the PC/Soundcard oscilliscope programs are fine for audio
frequencies, but are not good for high frequency stuff or digital timing
problems.
I would recommend that you look for an older Tektronics 'scope. The Tek 465
is a nice portable 'scope that is quite usable with dual channel inputs and
good delayed sweep triggering. It is about 7 inches high, and 14 inches
wide and about 20 inches deep when sitting on a shelf - (that is a good
guess - could measure mine, but it is down in the workshop, and I am here in
the shack).
You should be able to find one in the $100 to $200 range, but also plan to
spend some extra bux for a good set of 10X probes rated at 150 MHz or better
so you do not load down the circuit under test.
