Well, folks.  Slapped the iron to the board agn.  Double checked =
components
and the toroid windings.
And still hve low power.
Installed the 30 m option.  Using math instead of the graph with the
Elecraft Dummy load I get the following at 13.8v input.
40 mtr 3.5 w
30 mtr 4.0 w
20 mtr 2.4 w
When using 12 v bench supply or using the 9 volt alkaline batteries, I =
get
proportionally lower output but all show consistent relationship.
I guess I just have a lower powered KX1 rig.
BUT let me tell you the rx in that thing.  I heard some stuff w/ it I =
was
not sure I could find on my K2.
Now the K2 does a much better job on eliminating nearby strong signals =
but
that KX1 rx is no slouch.
Bottom-line...having fun and that is what it is all about.  Onto the =
antenna
tuner.
