I forgot to mention we're taking 10 K2's with us, so the Elecraft
community should support us. http://www.dx-pedition.de/banaba2004

I want to thank everyone for this thread. I'm going on the T33C trip
later this year, and we're severely weight limited. And in a multi-op
DXpedition environment sound isolation can be mandatory since
generators, 'phone ops and even some CW ops can be noisy. I've got
several versions of sound-plug type earphone, including the Koss, but
as far as I can tell the Koss with modifications are the best for me,
and inexpensive enough so I can take a couple of sets. Plug type
headphones also can help with sore ears, a real annoyance after
operating 12 hours a day for a week.

      Rick,

Try http://headwize2.powerpill.org/proj. Otherwise a search for Koss the
      Plug will yield some sites.

I just picked up a pair of the Koss Plug earphones last night. While I do
      like them
a lot, I'm also curios what to do when the original foam plugs wear out.
      Can you
pass along the URL for the website you mention?

      TNX.
