Have you been asleep since then? 

I got my Extra in 1959, the same year I started college. I graduated in
1964, and I've been studying SOMETHING just about every day since. If
you haven't studied anything since then, especially something as basic
to ham radio as transistors, it ,au be  time someone threw dirt on you.
