Mike,

It appears that you have just missed the steps in the KFL1-4 manual (bottom
of page 16 in the rev. A copy I have) and K1 manual (page 39 in my old rev.
D manual) where you assign the correct bands to bands B1, B2, B3, and B4.

The K1 has no way of knowing what bands are on any particular filter board
that's been installed until you make the band assignments using the b1 to b4
menu.  The only frequency that is measured by the K1 is the VFO frequency,
so the K1 uses the band assignment info and the display calibration info
that you manually enter during initial alignment to generate the correct
frequency display.
