I have a field test unit of the KRC2, and use it all the time.
I particularly use the button on it that instantly switches the
R2 input on and off, as I have a big Flag receiving loop that I
use on several bands.
The band decoder function works very well. I have a home-brew
switched matching network to use with my CF 60 ft dipole. I
can switch in an appropriate matching network for whatever band
I select on the radio, and the band decoder then causes the correct
matching network to be switched in.
Neat little box.

Just wondering how many Elecrafters have built and used the KRC2? I
have seen a paucity of traffic on reflector pertaining to the KRC2.
Can someone post their experiences and impressions? Thanks.
