[Elecraft] KAT1 impedance range?

Thanks Phil. I'm thinking of ordering a K1 kit and I don't know whether to
get the KAT1 with it. Given that the pound is so strong against the dollar
it almost doesn't matter, because it will work out pretty cheap, but I'm
conscious that many internal ATUs only work on a limited range of
impedances. For example, the one in my IC756ProII does anything up to a 3:1
SWR. My HF antennas are all doublets, fed through a 4:1 balun, and so I use
an outboard manual ATU. The KAT1 would be convenient though, if it can
manage up to say a 6:1 SWR. Are there no published specifications for the
current model and firmware?

Likely no easy answer, Kevin -- since the capability of the KAT1 has
changed/improved with newer versions of the firmware. It is a very
effective ATU.
