Hi
Hard to beat a Fluke DMM. I have a Fluke 8050 on my bench that is over =
15 years old and the only thing ever done to it was to replace the C =
cell NiCad batteries a couple of times. I also have a Fluke 87, a 88, a =
12B and a T5-600. The Fluke meters cost more but are built to take just =
about anything you can do to one including stupid mistakes. They also =
have from 3 year to lifetime warranties depending on model. When I =
worked in a calibration lab years ago we never needed to do anything to =
the Fluke meters other than replace the battery, check the calibration =
and put a new sticker on them. They always checked out better than the =
specs. If you take reasonable care of one they will last a lifetime.

Following my 3rd RS multimeter failure, I'm in the market for =
something new
(non-RS). What are you all using? Any good deals out there?
tnx 73,
