[Elecraft] KX-1 Section 2 Tests

Well....I finally got the second section of the building process done
tonight and did the tests at the back of the section.....I have one thing to
say YEEHAAAAA!!!
After all the tests, Heard NM, CO, NY and one DX station. I even tuned in
the same stations in on my K2 and they were all on the exact same frequency
as the KX-1.
I do want to Thank Gary at Elecraft for all his patiance and help in getting
me through the first section of the manul. There were a few meter readings,
even in section 2 that were not what I thought they should be, but HAY....IT
WORKS.
Hope to have this lil puppy all put together by this weekend so I can get
out and try it with a few different antennas I am thinking about for my
travels.
Thanks again Elecraft for another fine kit. I must say that some of the
soldering does get a bit tight, but I am sure glad they came out with a kit
that will fit into my pocket or briefcase for travel.
