FW: [Elecraft] KX1 Case Size[Batteries]

I'm using the BIG BOYS in a model airplane, 62 x 70 x 6 mm, 45 grams, $15,
2200 mAh, 6-cells (2x3 or 11.1 V/4400 mAh). The specs call for no greater
than 14 Amp draw, but they don't get too hot running 18 Amp to my 6v! motor!
It sure gets hot tho!

The cells are rated 3.7 volts, but that's empty! Full, they are 4.2, and at
KX1 draws, they'd stay 4 or more for a L O O O N G time.

Look at batteriesamerica.com for the smaller batteries you'll want. The pack
I built would run a K2/100 for a few hours!
