Don't bother. I have the same problem and thought a Cliffdweller (a 'slinky'
antenna for those that are unfamiliar with it) would do the trick. With the
exception of 40 mtrs (almost, anyway) I could never get it to be resonate
within any amateur bands. I finally relegated it to SWL listening which
wasn't much better.
And don't get suckered in by the Isotron antennas either (ask me how I
know). They 'work' (technically speaking) but are *extremely* fussy and
narrowbanded.
Bottom line is unfortunately there is no magic stealth antenna that will
perform like a 'real' antenna for us apartment/condo dwellers. The upside
is, it's a challenge and makes you think outside the box to get on the air
;)
