I don't know Carl, N4PY, personally, but we've had several contacts . . .
When I had the TenTec Pegasus, it was Carl's software that really turned it
into a super radio . . . when I had the TenTec Omni V, it was Carl's
hardware modification that turned it into a super radio also, (known as the
Omni V.9) I've since sold both those radios (to help fund my K2/100 setup)
and really have missed the software.
Carl apparently likes quality radios, and now that he has seen fit to modify
his software to work with the K2 .  .  . well, I'm on board with that!
The contacts I've had with him were for help to fix errors and problems (all
mine, I should say!) when I was setting up either the Pegasus or the Omni
V.9 . . . and he's always quick to answer e-mails and puts out a really
quality product.  Have a suggestion for something you'd like his software to
do?  Ask him, and if it's feasible, he'll try to put it in the next edition
of the software . . .
Carl's a good guy who puts out a quality product because he actually seems
to enjoy it . . . and uses it himself . . . give it a try, you'll like it .
