I'll let you all in on the worlds best kept secret - Mozilla Mail, it's 
available for free over at www.mozilla.org and has a feature list longer 
than I'd care to write about :-) but crucially it does have some very 
sophisticated and wonderful bayesian spam filtering. It is arguably the 
worlds best email client and did I mention it's free? Head on over there 
now and grab your copy and while you're there pick up a copy of Firebird 
- a truly wonderful browser that is everything Internet Explorer isn't 
and it also happens to be free!

These are all available for various platforms including the Mac, so you 
can get a chance to run some decent software for once ;-)
