[Elecraft] KX1... Perfect?

I've digested a lot of nice comments about the KX1 and am forming a 
picture about the environment into which some are using this rig.

Conspicuously absent... discussions on improvements, engineering changes 
if you will.  This is a great testimony to the thought and effort into 
it's design - kudos to Elecraft. Yet, now that there are several hundred 
in the field, have any modifications/improvements surfaced or in the 
works?
