Not so with #1400.

Pressing and holding the RIT and XFIL buttons together results in "FinE On"
being displayed before the buttons are released.  You can hold them as long
as you like with no further change and the RIT XIT indicator toggles one to
the other.

Subsequently pressing and holding RIT and XFIL together then results in
"FinE OFF".
