[Elecraft] Strange RX (and TX) Occurance With K2

Last night I wandered up into the 40 meter phone band using my  K2.  There 
was a QSO going on right around 7184 khz.  But both stations sounded like they 
had very bad AC on their signals.  Everything else on 40 meters sounded fine, 
but on this freq. it was very distorted.  When I broke in, they said I was 
distorted!  I checked their signals with a small Sony portable receiver, and they 
sounded fine.  Que Pasa?  Anyone else ever noticed this before?  I sure 
haven't.
