Thanks to all of you guys, I think I finally got it!

Check it out:

http://home.internetcds.com/~barbados/spectrogram2.jpg

I followed Jim's (K4ZM) advice and Gary's (AB7MY) for the general setup =
and the darn thing works! COOL!

Couldn't post until the computer store opened at 9AM as my keyboard went =
south. Picked up a good mono patch cable for the mike-in to ext-spkr =
out. Still have the 60Hz hum as one of you astute guys mentioned, but =
it doesn't seem to affect anything.

Now, if I could just find out why I have low xmt audio after installing =
the SSB adapter, I'll be a happy guy. As well as the OPT1 filter =
optimized on receive, I don't think it's a problem in the SSB board as I =
have 230mv of audio on pin 7 of U3 with a MAJOR whistle in the mike. =
Guess it's supposed to be between 200-800mv, so it's a little low and I =
think it may point to the mike.

The other strange thing that happened this morning was that I wasn't =
able to select the MENU function. Hit the button and nothing happened. =
After about the 10th try, it worked but when running CAL-FIL I kept =
getting INFO 230 on the screen. Never happened before.

The shack is in the garage and it was cold last night, perhaps 30F. Are =
the K2's sensitive to cold?

Thanks again to all. You're great!
