I agree with most of what Julian says and although I tend to agree that the
most important factor is the other guy hearing what you are saying, I will
add I think there is room for fidelity. I know many local ragchewers would
rather lean towards broadcast audio than maximum punch. I for one would like
the ability to be able to flip a switch (tap/press) and have a wide 2.5
filter to use. I am not willing to compromise my current filters to do it
though. Which means I might have to build another SSB board :)
