When the noise blanker can't give you any relief from the noise you are
receiving,
there are still a few things you can do.
1. Look into low-noise receiving antennas.
A. Look up the Flag and Pennant loop site

B. Look up articles on small tuned multi-turn receiving loops. Their
advantage is that,
being small, they can be rotated to minimize received noise.
Using vari-caps, you
can tune them remotely, allowing you to peak a received signal.
This helps
compensate for the lower signal output of the loop, compared to a
dipole.
C. Try to find a relatively low-noise location around your property to
install the loop.
Noise is not constant throughout a property.
2. Look into antenna noise cancelling devices. There are many web sites
with info on
these useful devices. They can be tricky to get working, but when
they do, it is
almost like magic.
