Hi Dave,

My typo - The correct new DSP2 rev is 3.1. The new DSP2 f/w is only needed if 
you wish to use two new front panel key combinations to directly access auto 
notch and noise reduction on / off, instead of using the K2's display button 
followed by band up/down.

This noted on the order page and is covered in the f/w upgrade notes on our 
manual download page:

In any case, the new K2 f/w will work for everything else without upgrading 
the DSP.
