[Elecraft] Shaft Encoder

Hello All
            Could someone give me an idea of where and which encoder to get 
for a K2? I see digikey has them but im not sure of which one,I  checked 
with Elecraft but the only info i could get out of them was that it was a 
serious problem, I need this to continue with construction of the kit, Tnx 
for the bandwidth  73s de W4GNS
