It's the origin of the actual DSP module used in the K2, and the
DSP-10 provides support for stand alone use.  

It's not a plug-in project, but there's enough there to do what you
want.

   Any possibility the KDSP2 filter will be developed as a self contained unit 
   so that it could be used between the audio output and speaker (or 
   earphones) of any transceiver?
   I recently assembled and installed a KDSP2 in my K2 and am very pleased 
   with the results.
   I would love to have the nr feature for my Kenwood TS830S as well.
   I think such a kit could open the Elecraft market to hams who currently 
   don't own a K2 or K1 and would probably be a worth while venture.
