I ran the wire across in some spaghetti tubing, keeping the required 
spacing.  Despite the manual's admonition against fixatives of any kind on 
the toroids, I also used some Gorilla glue in this one instance due to the 
hazards.  This glue foams a bit and therefore would not greatly affect the 
capacitance between the turns of the windings.
