Wolf,

The QRP K2 should have a signal that is just as broad as the amplified K2,
so yes the mod should be useful at QRP levels too.

The keying bandwidth problem becomes more apparent with amplification since
the receiving station can hear the 'clicks' better.  That does not say they
are not present, it just says the power in the excess bandwidth is not as
great.

OTOH, a sharper keying envelope (hard keying) may make your signal more
apparent on the band, and that may be an advantage for QRP operation.  Every
QRP K2 operator will have to make an individual decision on that matter.
