[Elecraft] Setting MM-DD-YY on KDSP2

Just finished the KDSP2 and it works just FB but.....

.....Having (cockpit) trouble changing the date display from DD-MM-YY to =
MM-DD-YY.

In a DSP menu (denoiser),  I press STORE + RCL for the clock, tap a band =
button to get calendar (showing DD-MM-YY), press RCL and it toggles to =
MM-DD-YY or DD-MM-YY, select MM-DD-YY and tried exiting by pushing STORE =
and menu but it continues to display DD-MM-YY.

What an I doing wrong?  Am I somehow in the BYPASS mode? Am I not =
exiting correctly? Am I doing this from the wrong menu? What?
