[Elecraft] KX1 antenna testing

Well, finally had time to test the 28' random wire and 16' counterpoise. Set
the rig up in the kitchen, ran the random wire from the kitchen to the
living room about 3 feet above the floor...the counterpoise was strung out
on the floor of the kitchen. Got from 1.1 to 1.9 SWR for all 3 bands. Heard
K4US ending a QSO and gave him a call. He gave me a 449 and he was 579. Not
bad for about 3 watts out. Guess I am ready to take this rig on vacation
next week. Will be on air as much as possible from FL. Hope to hear some
other Elecraft users while I am down there.
