[Elecraft] I/O problems

Hi, All,

I am installing an I/O option to an updated K2, and using a known good K2 to
test it out.  I can set up a HyperTerminal connection to COM1, and when I
send the data as instructed through the menu and tapping Display, everything
is A-OK.I exit the menu and type in the "SW01;" command, and the radio does
nothing.

I also have tried connecting the radio to Danh Le, KE6D's program and the
radio is forever stuck trying to "Querying the Radio" mode.  I have used a
known good cable between the K2 and the I/O connector.  The problem must lie
in the cabling and/or the two PC assemblies.  I've checked those over and
over.

Any digital I/O folks have any ideas on how to troubleshoot the can't send a
command from the computer to the radio problem
