Hi

With a $200 budget there are several Fluke meters that you could get. =
Although the B&K meters are OK the Fluke meters are much higher quality, =
have a better warranty and overload protection second to none. Most of =
them have an analog bargraph along the bottom of the display that is =
useful for peaking or dipping voltages.

  Subject: [Elecraft] DMM Recommendations

  I am in the process of building up my tools for an eventual build of=20
  the KX1 (after I tackle the Rockmite, that's sitting here). I have a=20
  Weller Soldering station on its way to me, and just received a =
Panavise=20
  workstation. Does anyone have recommendations for a DMM? I am =
looking=20
  at BK Precision models 389A, 388B and 2707A. Each of these fall into=20
  my price category of under $200. Does anyone have experience with=20
  these? What have others used and found helpful? If there is an =
archive=20
  of this topic, I apologize...a pointer to it would be appreciated. =20
  Thank you.

  73,
  Ryan / N=D8KEY
