[Elecraft] Questions for KAT100 Gurus

Of course, I got my KAT100 done this weekend and was playing around with it last night and I have some questions.
What types of matches will it not match? For instance, I have a Inverted-L that sags with 16 radials under it. Matches as a 1/4 wave on 160 very nicely, but on 80 meters as a 1/2 wave it comes up to about 1.7 to 2.0-1. It sure makes a lot of noise when it tries to make the match. Looking at the parameters, it has a lot of C and very little L with C on the antenna side of things (Lo-Z if I am not mistaken)
When you read the parameters (cool feature too) we are looking at a C of 2.10. I am assuming that means 2100 pf?
Anything on the E for Error above 200 to 256 is OK? Under 199 is a real error? I could not find error codes on the web site.
And if it says T168...it actually went through 168 different tries at getting the SWR down? is that right? Amazing if it is.
What happens if it cannot find a match? Does it quit or lock up or give you a message that no match can be found?
I have been looking at the manual and it talks about a manual operation. I cannot see where that comes into play or is my brain not understanding the manual? Is there away to "play" with the L and C manually?
Does it remember the settings for each mode and each VFO or is it just one memory location for each band or antenna? In other words if you have VFO A on 20 meters at 14250 and you go down to work the rare one at 14002 with VFO B it will remember the settings at 14250 and not automatically put in the settings for 14002?
I have a SignalCrafters SWR bridge which was the "talk of the town" back in the 80s. It shows that the match is not quite there between the K2 and the KAT100. Is that a bad alignment with R4 and R3? Anyone got a tip there?
Also, when I nulled at the cap in the SWR bridge, I could not get it to ZERO. It nulled OK, but not flat and it was either on the high side or low side of the cap because I cannot tell which side it was on. Comments on that?
Other wise, its working fine. Now, after you finish laughing a my stupid questions, could you answer my stupid questions above?
