I got the FT100 knob/rubber ring combination and tried it on my K2. To
me,
the combination was just too small. So, what I did was take the rubber
ring
from the FT100 knob and put it on the original K2 knob. I like that size
much
better. The ring is almost too small to fit the K2 knob, so do the
installation in a warm environment, such that the rubber ring will be
softer and easier
to stretch over the K2 knob. I found that putting the ring on the K2
knob was
much easier if the knob was not already on the K2 shaft. If you do it
that
way, then you cannot reach the set screws when you go to re-mount the
knob. The
solution is to drill small holes in the ring right where the set screws
holes
are located. Make the holes just big enough to get the wrench through to
the
set screws.

And finish off with one of the Finger Dimples on the knob face.

Drop the rubber ring in HOT!!! water for a few minutes...It will become

mowers!!!...<G>
