The Yaesu FT-900 knob also fits nicely (without removing anything from
inside the shaft hole).  It is a bit larger and a bit heavier than the
FT-100 knob but does not have the 'finger dimple'.
You can see it mounted on my K2 at my website www.qsl.net/w3fpr.  I have not
updated the info on Yaesu yet, but I was told their phone number is now
1-714-827-7600 and they changed the prices too - $9.85 for the knob and
$0.53 for the ring.
For those who want the rounded edge knob without replacing the stock K2
knob, the Yaesu ring can be stretched a bit and fits fine over the K2 knob
(less than a broccoli band if you don't eat the broccoli <G>).
