[Elecraft] K2 initial testing, a follow up

Hi all,

Thank you Don, Jim, Tom and Geoff for your replies to my e-mail. Yesterday I went 
on investigating my LCD problems. While resetting the microcontroller, as suggested 
to me, I saw that all the digits of the LCD are working because I saw the text "Info 
201", so I think the LCD and the LCD driver are fine now.

I took a dive into the archives of the mail reflector and I discovered that my problem 
has been documented in 2001. It seems that the microprocessor is waiting for some 
line to clear, which will never happen. Suggestions are made to investigate the 5 Volt 
line, some signal lines and U3, which could be destroyed by ESD.

This sunday afternoon, I will look into this matter and report to the reflector.
