[Elecraft] Is it possible to monitor digital, transmissions.

Jess (AE0CW),   Thanks for your reply and offer for the cable,  but I 
allready have my interface hooked up and working.

Doug (N7BNT),   I have the PSKMETER and it's a great tool for PSK.  I 
use it also to set up the audio level for rtty, and the other digital modes.

What I mean is that my Yaesu MP rig has a transmit monitor build in,  so 
that while I am transmitting  rtty, psk, cw or voice, I am able to hear 
it on the MP's speaker.   I wanted to know if the K2 had that same feature.
What I have done to listen to what I am sending is to  put a "Y" 
connector on the Speaker out on the PC and 1 side goes to interface and 
then on to the mic audio in on the K2.  The other side of the "Y" goes 
to my PC speaker. 
This works,  but the sound was terrible, mostly hum.   I since changed 
to a better PC speaker and it seems ok now.
When I run my MP I turn my PC speakers off,  just wanted to do the same 
with the K2.
